After obtaining her B.S. in Business Administration in 1981 (California State University at Long Beach), Ms. Wilson spent nine years as a workers’ compensation claims adjuster and hearing representative in Southern California. She also attended law school during that time and obtained her J.D. in 1989 (Southwestern Law School) and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1989.
Ms. Wilson then spent the next 21 years mainly defending employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims. She practiced law in Southern California for five years. Then, after being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1995, Ms. Wilson honed her skills at a very reputable Atlanta law firm, where she was also a partner. Ms. Wilson determined during the last two years that she has a heart to represent injured workers and she moved to The Orlando Firm during the summer of 2011.
